David died on February 5, 2014, at his home in Foxboro at the age of 68. He was born in Norwood, but grew
up in Sharon. He served his country as a member of the United States Army from 1965-1967, prior to
being honorably discharged.
He was a resident of Foxboro for over 45 years, He had been employed as a heavy equipment operator for over 30 years at the Foxboro Highway Department before retiring. He was a member of the First Congregational Church of Sharon, the same church where he was married to his wife Grace. They were married for for 46 years and had two sons, (David Jr. and Robert) and a daughter (Lisa). He will always be remembered for his strong work ethics which included cutting wood, plowing snow in the winter, gardening, and projects around his home. His favorite times spent were those at his log cabin in Maine, where he and his family also enjoyed attending the Fryeburg Fair. |
