The following information about Linda's life after graduation from Sharon High was provided by Ed and Sandy Walper, her brother and sister-in-law..

Linda went on to Northeastern University School of Education. After graduation, she taught at the at the Franklin School in Brockton, MA. She was an accomplished artist, and these artistic abilities and creativity enhanced both the physical environment of her classroom as well as her teaching style and strategies. Kids loved being in Mrs. Simon's 5th grade class! Throughout the years she contributed to much of the Elementary Social Studies curriculum in the Brockton School System. Linda certainly was beloved by her students, their panrents, as well as her colleagues.

Linda married Larry Simon in 1978. They lived in Randolph where their son Joseph was born in 1981. As a family, they enjoyed sailing out of Winthrop Yacht Club, home improvements and gardening, and especially spending time with family and friends.

Most of all, Linda was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, educator, ,and good friend to many. She passed in October, 1994.
